Fishing Lake

The fishing lake, built in the locality of Pescina, in the Municipality of Seggiano, is located near the center of the afore mentioned fraction. It is an artificial hydraulic basin defined thanks to the barrier realized on the Ripolaia’s Creek. The barring, having a total development of about 220m and maximum height of about 3m, is made entirely of earthy material obtained on site. Particular attention has been given to the choice of materials used for the realization of the works of intake and hydraulic regulation, thanks to the use of gabions and “Reno” mattresses that have allowed to mitigate the maximum impact on the surrounding territory.
