Private Swimming pool Villa Colonna

Project for the realization of a private swimming pool inside the garden of a residence for agrituristic use, called Casa Colonna and immersed in the open Tuscan territory. The swimming pool, located in the south-east of the garden, in order to make the most of the best solar exposure and the orographic conformation of the soil, is characterized by a rectangular shape and a surface of 40 square meters of water, with a bowl edge made of sandstone slabs, arranged with irregular scheme “opus incertum” and surrounded by a specially redistributed ground with the help of containment walls in stone basins. The whole area inside the lot of relevance was then settle in meadow with the insertion of some floral species of autochthonous place, without going to affect the historical, visual and perceptual characteristics of the rural context of belonging, going to protect the preexistences and by putting in efficiency the areas in precarious state of maintenance.
