Ferraiole Wineshop

Ferraiole Wineshop

Project of restructuring and redevelopment of a podere of early 900's, placed in the territory of Montalcino, with the objective of deriving a series of spaces for tasting and sale of the winemaking company. Being situated in a dominant and panoramic position, the building lends itself perfectly to the reception and entertainment of the clients and, with its architectural peculiarities, gives the company the perfect image of rural historical activities in Tuscany. To finalize this intent, given the conformation of the building, its state of conservation and the activity to be settled within it, it is necessary to have an important intervention of redistribution of the interior spaces with the consequent restoration and modernization of all the real estate, including all the various plant components. The whole, trying to safeguard every particular architectural and historical component, starting from the existing floorings in cotto originating from the stable that have been maintained. Neuralgic Fulcrum and characterizing the new function, are the service counter at the entrance, the tables of the tasting area and the floor of the two apartments on the first floor of the building, made entirely of wood recovering from the old barriques used for the ageing of the glorious Brunello-born and of which, a few years later, they still release in the environment its magical intertwines of scents and its shades of fruit, tea, coffee, land and mushrooms elegantly amalgamated with each other.
